Querzol is a mangrove tree Beast that lives in the mangrove swamps of the eastern Wildlands. Producing a powerful acid within its body, Querzol devours its prey inside its trunk. The Beast's main weakness is its heart, which instead of being protected inside its body, is tangled in his roots at the bottom of the swamps. The Swamp Monster's preferred method of execution seems to be drowning its victims in the swamp water. Querzol was hunted for many years by the Mangrove Tribe of the Wildlands, but the group failed to vanquish the Beast. His name is presumably derived from Quercus, the Latin word for "oak".
